As reported by Radar Bali, some hotels in Bali has been bankrupt as they couldn’t encounter the crisis that’s been happened before. Some of them also has closed and sell their license to other company. One of the company itself is Bakrieland, a multinational company that having bussiness on tourism and accommodation. Bakrieland also take over some bankrupt hotels.
That action taken, as they will expand their business and also the local government stopped the license to the new resort or hotels in Bali. Some investor have to take some alternative if they would built the new hotel in Bali, one of the solution is buy license from the bankrupt hotels.
Actually, Bakrieland has been take over a bankrupt hotel in Kuta Legian, Hotel Intan in Kuta beach front has changed to be Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana, where it will be opening in early 2010. In other area, Bakrieland also take over Waka The Abian in Ubud which it will be Ubud Nirwana Villas. After finishing Pullman, Bakrieland will start to market 36 villas in Ubud, the concept will totaly diferent with condotel.
Bakrieland optimist, their project will have positive response from Bali tourism, as Bali tourism always show positive trend from year to year. This project from Bakrieland will enlivening market of Bali villas
